In 2007 we purchased the raw land that is now Mountain View Farms, a 26 acre farm surrounded by beautiful stone walls, mountain views and neighboring farm land. We even have a seasonal stream on our property.  We have created 15 land parcels for sale.  Our property is located in Boquete - about 8 miles before you enter the deep valley of the village itself - which is a very good thing (see micro  climate discussuins elsewhere on this site).  The project is 1.2 kilometers (about a mile) east of the main road that leads to Boquete from David, so its very close to Boquete's main village and convenient to the city of David as well.

We have completed full electrical installation, installed a high quality water system, and are finishing the details of the infrastructure in 2011, such as landscaping and a final resurfacing of our internal road.   We are 50% sold out, and several lot owners have been referred to local architects and builders.  If you decide to build a home in Panama, you'll want to use your own local architect, and we can help to get you lined up with an appropriate professional that suits your needs. We believe that you will find that our attention to detail, and honesty in dealing with our clients to be refreshing, perhaps even unusual. This attention, and our ethical standards are a large part of what what differentiates us from many others in the area. We are American owned, with local project management. 

If you purchase a pre-constructed home elsewhere, on a small lot in Boquete from a developer, you may well learn in the end,  that you've probably not made the best use of your capital. Our company does not use heavy equipment to raze the land and remove topsoil - or any of the existing vegetation. We're acutely aware of the need to keep this land pristine, and maintain it as a special place. We refuse to cut trees, or destroy the natural beauty of our (Panama's) raw land, simply to make a profit. This takes time, but we feel that it is well worth the effort.  Instead we clear the land the old fashioned way, by hand, using machetes and some modern hand operated equipment that doesn't destroy the natural vegetation.  Hand building 2-3 kilometers of stone walls has also required a lot of time.
